What is a DEHYDRATOR? How to Choose the Right One?
1. First of all, you should know that the larger the dehydrator, the lower the energy consumption for dehydration per 1 kg of product. If possible, choose the maximum size, but make sure it matches the amount you plan to dry at one time. We offer the following models:
SUSHIMO FD500 Dehydrator - 0.5 m²
SUSHIMO FD900 Dehydrator - 0.9 m²
SUSHIMO FD1500 Dehydrator - 1.5 m²
SUSHIMO FD2500 Dehydrator - 2.5 m²
SUSHIMO FD5000 Dehydrator - 5.0 m²
SUSHIMO FD8000 Dehydrator - 8.0 m²
Larger models available upon request.
2. Horizontal dehydrators dry more evenly because the products are blown with warm air from the side simultaneously, and the warm air doesn’t cool down as it travels from the lower tray to the upper one, unlike in vertical dehydrators for fruits and vegetables.
3. A digital controller allows for more precise temperature control, ensuring different types of products are dried properly.
4. A digital timer protects against over-drying and prevents you from forgetting to turn off the dehydrator in time.
5. Stainless steel dehydrators are more durable compared to metal ones, and they can be washed without concern.
